It would seem that our information was slightly inaccurate.  There is definitely a shortage in the sugary caffeine-ness and there is a poster calling for people to avoid buying certain products (Coca Cola being one of them), but these two things are not necessarily connected.  It turns out that the factory workers are lazily laying around taking part in the local drug and coming up with far fetched ideas of how to solve the problems of their lives and the world is changing sites, so the production of the nectar of the gods is temporarily suspended. 

While the shortage still pains my heart, I don’t feel as politically motivated to march for my right to drink whatever I feel like regardless of what is happening on the world stage.  Instead, I’ll have to sit outside of the new factory with my face pressed up against the glass, front doors, tapping the glass with my palms while chanting, “Open. Open. Open. Open.” 

Some might say I need therapy.  I say, all I need is a cold one on ice.
