More Dead Dogs: A Public Service

I don’t know if you noticed, but I went on vacation for a week.  Sorry that I didn’t warn you.  We went on a lovely – nay – fantastic family vacation.   The best ever, in my opinion.  We were completely removed from all technology – no cell phones, no television, no internet.  Glorious.

The first matter of business of course is the road tally.  On the way up to the capital we saw:

15 dead dogs

4 dead cats

4 undistinguishable

On our return trip yesterday, we saw:

21 dead dogs.

Not record breaking in the least, but despite their protesting from earlier, the ticker on the side is going up and up.

glad you had a good time 🙂

i was slightly concerned by the silence. our other friends in your corner of the desert have just flown back to the UK with all their most sentimental possessions.

    Stay safe!

I was wondering about the silence as well. Glad to know you’re safe … but the number of dead dogs really is quite disturbing to a dog lover. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to visit. 🙁

I knew you were on a little vacation, so I wasn’t worried. But I did pray for your safety anyway. I’ve got your back buddy!
